Information
How Rankings Work
Everything you need to know about the voting system
How is the score calculated?
Each player's score is calculated from the weighted average of all eligible votes they have received. This ensures that votes from more experienced players (in higher divisions) carry more weight in the final ranking.
What are the vote weights?
The weight of a vote depends on the division of the voter:
- Division A100% weight
- Division B80% weight
- Division C50% weight
- Division D30% weight
- Division E15% weight
- Division F & lower7.5% weight
Who is eligible to vote?
To prevent manipulation and ensure quality rankings, a user's votes are only counted in the global ranking once they have rated a minimum number of players across all classes.
Requirements
Can I rate myself?
No. The system automatically detects if a player's name exactly matches your in-game name (the name you set in your profile, case-insensitive) and will require you to skip that player. This prevents self-promotion and ensures fair rankings.
How do you prevent troll ratings?
We use an Anomaly Detection System to identify and remove ratings that appear to be trolling or manipulation attempts. Our system automatically flags:
- •Deviation Anomalies: Ratings that deviate more than 10 points from a player's average. For example, if a player has ratings of 81, 82, 84, 82, 83, and someone rates them 94, this is flagged as suspicious.
- •Suspicious Boosts: Players with fewer than 3 ratings and an average above 90 are flagged, as this may indicate self-promotion or friend-boosting.
Flagged ratings are reviewed by our admin team and removed if they appear to be illegitimate. This ensures that rankings remain fair and accurately reflect the community's genuine opinion of each player's skill.
Note: Only real user ratings are analyzed. System-generated default ratings are excluded from anomaly detection.
What are the rating limits?
To prevent extreme manipulation, once a player has received at least 5 ratings, new ratings must be within ±20 points of their current average. This means you cannot give a 50 to a player who averages 85, or a 99 to a player who averages 60.
